STAYING:  A Multi-Generational Memoir of Rescue and Restoration

Staying: A Multi-Generational Memoir of Rescue and Restoration chronicles the events of William Sanders' childhood and adolescence, and the effects those experiences had on him as a father to a little girl who suffered from debilitating anxiety and panic disorder. She needed a father who understood deep hurt and fear. She got one. At the end of each chapter, William asks God for a few words on the events he has recalled. God doesn’t always answer them in the way William would like. But God pours His love out to William in revealing ways. NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am married and my wife and I have two (almost) grown daughters. I spent 20 years as a writer and editor at daily newspapers, the last 12 of which were with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I won various state and regional writing and reporting contests, both as a sports writer and a features writer. Those awards, and $3.50, will get me a good cup of coffee. If I could make a living coaching rec-league girls softball, I would. My few championships, and $3.50, will get me a bagel and cream cheese to go with that coffee. I'm flawed as the day is long, as my wife and kids will attest to. But I choose Jesus over religion, grace over law and love over the right to be right. Love covers my multitude of sins.
